Brian Nelles began his television career in 1981 as a master control operator at a television station in Rapid City, South Dakota. During that time, he earned an electronics technician degree. In 1986, Nelles market jumped to Las Vegas and then to Phoenix, where he worked as a photojournalist and was honored with an Emmy Award for excellence in news coverage. He began working on satellite trucks in the early 1990s.

Over 30 years ago, Nelles brought his expertise to PSSI, where he worked as a broadcast engineer before becoming a co-owner and executive vice president of the company. Currently, he serves as the chief technology officer where he manages all engineering staff and services at both PSSI Global Services and PSSI International Teleport.
